Iontophoresis and the NHS
We are proud to supply the NHS with Hidrex machines for treatment in hospitals and clinics across the UK. Treatments in NHS clinics are limited and demand is high so unfortunately it can take some time for you to be treated on the NHS. In most cases, the number of NHS treatments you receive will be limited to 7 or 9 sessions and although many people will see a reduction in their excessive sweating, most will require more sessions than the standard number available before they see their Hyperhidrosis coming under control and sweat levels normalising.
In addition to waiting times, limited space and the limited number of available treatment sessions, most NHS hospitals only offer the core treatment areas of hands and feet and on occasion the underarms. Other areas are not at this time catered to. So while outpatient treatment is possible it is not always the best option or an option at all. Not all NHS dermatology clinics offer iontophoresis treatments and very few offer ongoing maintenance sessions.
There are of course, also significant delays and cancellation due to Covid 19 and national lockdowns which are preventing patients from gaining access to iontophoresis treatments for their Hyperhidrosis needs

We offer a discounted rate for paying in full and this can save up to £100 off the MSRP. We appreciate this is not within reach of every customer and patient and so we have put in place a number of options to help everyone who needs a machine gain access to one.
Pay Monthly Iontophoresis
We provide interest-free monthly payment plans to help you easily own an iontophoresis machine. These pay in instalment options are currently only available to UK residents.
Rental Iontophoresis machines
We also offer a rental service. You can easily rent a machine from as little as £20 per month. Simply choose the model of machine you require, add the accessories you need then check out. Our website will create a monthly rental agreement and you can rent for as long or a short a term as you need. This is particularly useful for patients who perhaps only suffer in summer months and do not want to purchase a machine outright for only a few months use each year.
